Max Cekot
Probably the most amazing restaurant in Riga, hidden at the end of an industrial area in an old factory – top chef Max Cekot has fulfilled a dream together with his wife Natalia: Garden-to-table is what they call their concept, 80% of their ingredients are grown in the garden right in front of the restaurant itself. One example: Because citrus doesn't grow in Latvia, he uses citrusy herbs or flowers instead, or even apples to add acidity to the food and drinks. Breathtakingly delicate as well as intensely complex. Even if it costs some time and money: choose the tasting menu with wine accompaniment!
